Garforth Town?s new kit for next season has been launched and shirts can be pre-ordered from today. Available in a range of adult and junior sizes, from ?35 to ?45. Orders will be full filled from 1st August subject to production. Child sizes and XXL and above will be a special order so production times may be slightly longer. Order through the club shop.

The Gary Prince Memorial Family Fun Night takes place on Saturday 27th June from 7.30pm at Kippax Band Club. All proceeds go to St Gemma?s Hospice.

Micklefield Open Gardens event takes place on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 June, Entry to gardens is by programme, which costs ?5 from St Mary?s Church. Accompanied children are free.

St Mary?s Church Kippax Flower Festival takes place on Saturday 13th June from 10am to 2pm and on Sunday 14th from noon to 2pm. Cream teas available.

The Garforth, Swillington, Kippax, Methley and Villages Neighbourhood Policing Teams, will be holding a community contact point this weekend on Sunday 7th June from 10am to noon at Garforth Police Station.

Join us for our first Tots Toddle at RSPB Fairburn Ings on Tuesday 9th June. Meeting just before 10am outside the visitor centre. This is a free event for bumps, babies, pre-schoolers and their parents/carers. Suitable for prams and pushchairs. No booking needed, just come along

03/01/2019 Peckfield and Parlington Plans Squashed by the Inspectors
Hearty congratulations to Garforth Neighbourhood Forum, the Save Parlington Campaign and our local councillors for their sustained campaigns against building houses on Green Belt land around Garforth and Aberford. We are not short of brown field sites in the Outer South East of Leeds so there was never any need to use farm land for much needed affordable housing. Thank you also to the Inspectors for showing LCC the error of their ways. We must all hope their recommendation is heeded.

The winner will be announced on 2nd November. 10/09/2016 Local Airport’s Charter Flights Plan The owners of the Leeds East Airport at Church Fenton, Tadcaster, have applied for an operator's licence by the Civil Aviation Authority. The airport plans to offer up to four flights a day to Cannes, Faro and Malaga from May 2017. Residents have raised concerns over aircraft noise and an increase in traffic congestion.
