The Community Hub at Kippax Library is holding a Halloween Crafts event on Monday 23rd October from 2pm to 3pm. Kids are encouraged to turn up in Halloween fancy dress. The event is suitable for under 16s and no booking is required.

The Lord Mayor of Leeds will open a new £150,000 skate park in Kippax at 1pm this Saturday. The facility is located on Kippax Common playing fields and can be accessed from Green Lane and Green Avenue.

Staff from the Leeds Building Society offices on Main Street Garforth have been using their volunteering leave to fix up old furniture at the Growing Zone in Kippax. The Growing Zone is an allotment garden project for adults and children with special needs.
2017-09-07 Adventures in Digital Photography
Are you interested in digital photography and aged 13-17? If so come along to a new camera club that meets fortnightly at Kippax community Hub from 4pm to 5pm, starting 18th September. All equipment is provided and it is free. This is a 6 session programme funded by Outer East Community Committee. Booking is essential
