Kippax Hall Surgery is holding a Patient Participation Group meeting on Thursday 29th January, starting at 5pm. New members welcome. Come along and join in.

There is a Community Mid-week Muck-in at St Aidan?s on Wednesday 21st January. Meet at 9.30am outside the Little Owl Cafe, the session lasts till 12:30. All equipment and tea & cake provided. 

 

2026-01-15  U10s Rugby Players Wanted

Kippax Welfare Rugby League U10s are back in pre-season training and are on the lookout for new players to join their amazing squad for 2026. Training Times are Mondays 5:30pm to 6:30pm (with plans to move to 2 sessions per week later in the season). Open to boys and girls currently in School Year 5 (2025/26 school year). The St Aidan?s Winter Beast race takes place on 8th February at 11am. The distance of the race is 6.66 miles and entry fee is ?19 -?21. Online entry at racebest.com closes 10am on 7th February

Leeds City Council have received an appeal regarding the refusal of planning permission for the Battery storage facility in Ledston.

Emergency services descended on St Aiden?s Nature Reserve near Allerton Bywater on Sunday afternoon following a serious incident in which a ?person slipped and broke her leg.? Incident Response teams, paramedics, and an ambulance attended the scene.
