2018-11-10 Police Appeal over Stolen Motorbikes
Police are appealing for help to find two stolen motorbikes. A blue Suzuki and a green Triumph were taken from Kippax on 26th or 27th October. The bikes have since been sighted in Seacroft and Gipton

Kippax bus users have been warned of service disruptions during the closure of Valley Road for utility works from Monday 29th October to Friday 2nd November. Numbers 173A, 174, 174A, 175 and 175A will be affected, with diversions via Leeds Road
2018-10-20 Concert Band Players Wanted
Do you play a concert band instrument or used to play and have been thinking about taking it up again? The Preston Players are looking for new players of all concert band instruments (minimum grade 3 standard) to join. Rehearsals take place in Great Preston Village Hall every Thursday 7.30-8.30pm during term time. Just turn up with your instrument to see if you would like to become a member.
2018-10-03 Virus Closes Fishery
Kippax Park fishery has been temporarily closed because of a confirmed outbreak by CEFAS (Centre for Environmental, Fisheries and Aquaculture Science) of KHV (Koiherpesvirus), and an update will be issued when the situation alters. The disease can result in large-scale mortalities of up to 100 per cent among common carp and all varieties. There is no treatment, and any fish that survive become carriers of the disease in future years.

Bus users of the 174A service face disruption from Saturday 29th September to Sunday 7th October while work is carried out by Yorkshire Water in the Westfield Lane area of Kippax. Diversions via Leeds Road and Valley Road will be in operation.
