2025-01-12 Bomb Hoaxer Pleads Guilty |
Thomas Cannon, 26 of Hillam Lane, Leeds, pleaded guilty to communicating false information about an explosive device in Castleford. He was remanded in custody and told he would next appear before Leeds Crown Court on 18 February. |

A planning application has been submitted by Stonebridge Homes for demolition of a property on land off Main Street Hillam and the development of 27 new homes on the site. |

2024-12-16 Bomb Hoaxer in Court |
A 25-year-old man has appeared in court charged with making hoax calls to West Yorkshire Police. Thomas Cannon, of Hillam Lane in Leeds, appeared at Leeds Magistrates' Court charged with a bomb hoax and intentionally/recklessly causing a public nuisance. The case has been referred to Leeds Crown Court, where Mr Cannon will appear again on 9 January. |
