It is Apple Harvest Weekend at Lotherton Hall on 12th to 13th September from 10am. Pick fresh from the trees as you collect your own bag of apples for only ?2.50. A great activity for the whole family. Finish your day by exploring nature and the surrounding woodland. Buy a bag for apples from the membership office in the Stable Courtyard. |

York RI Golden Rail Band will be playing at Lotherton Hall on Sunday 30th August from 2pm to 4pm. The event is included in admission. |

2026-08-26 Formal Gardens Tour |
There is a guided tour of the beautiful formal gardens at Lotherton from our garden volunteers. It happens on the last Wednesday of every month. The next one is on Wednesday 26th August from 1pm to 2pm. No need to book, just meet outside the entrance to the main house. |

Aberford Young Authors, an initiative tailored for young people aged 11 to 16, meets on the first Monday of every month from 6pm-7pm in the back room of The Arabian Horse. The group is currently looking for new members to join its ranks, welcoming any local young people aged 11 to 16 with a passion for stories. |

The Christmas Experience Event at Lotherton Hall this year will run from 21st November to 3rd January. The Christmas Experience has something for everyone, from little believers visiting Santa for the first time, to magical adventures with Mrs Claus, the elves and Santa, or a festive day out full of wonder. Estate entry only is ?12.50 adults, ?7.75 children aged 3+, free for under 2's. Santa?s North Pole is from ?16.95, perfect for families, and Santa?s Cabin for pre-school kids is ?12.
